Sukkari Rutab Dates are dates growing in the Qassim Valley in Saudi Arabia. Its flesh melts especially with a nice honey color. This is a date with a delicious caramel flavor and very high in fiber. Harvested at mid-maturity, hence their nickname "rutab" which means wet, Sukkari dates have a soft and very melt-in-the-mouth texture. They are very rich in fibre.
They are ideal to taste alone but also in pastry! They do not liquefy during cooking and blend perfectly with the shortbread.
Nutritionally, it is rich in vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B5 as well as vitamin A1 and C and is high in magnesium, iron and potassium
