Licorice Drink ALGOTA 150g
Description
The active ingredient in licorice is glycyrrhizin, which has strong water-binding properties in the skin. Licorice also has antiallergic, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, diuretic, antioxidant, anti-seborrhoeic and anti-oedematous properties. It reduces redness and has a soothing effect. It slightly raises blood pressure. It is also recommended as an aid in the treatment of atopic skin lesions and psoriasis.
Set contains:
- Licorice roots crushed and soaked in pure licorice extract
- A basket for a portion of dried fruit
After filling the basket with licorice (approx. 20 g per jug approx. 0.7 l), place it on the surface of a jug filled with cold water. The basket will float on the surface of the water. After approx. 30 min. the drink will be ready. The set contains enough herbs to prepare about 25 glasses of drink.
